Fruit Wars

While in art school at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery during this March Break, the instuctor had the kids make cards for a memory game.  For his cards, Piers decided to draw this:

 

It’s a tank that shoots apples.  I love it.  Even better, the sound effect (this is Piers, after all) is “pom! pom! pom!” which to me sounds like he’s saying “pomme! pomme! pomme!”  Hahahaa.  He tells me that’s not what he’s saying, but I sure like to think so.

I just love the idea of a machine of war converted to distribute food.  It’s anti-war art!
